Cardiovascular and Endurance training
Cardiovascular fitness is the ability of the heart and lungs to supply oxygen-rich blood to the working muscle tissues and the ability of the muscles to use oxygen to produce energy for movement. This type of fitness is a health-related component of physical fitness that is brought about by sustained physical activity. A person’s ability to deliver oxygen to the working muscles is affected by many physiological parameters, including heart rate, stroke volume, cardiac output, and maximal oxygen consumption.
Understanding the relationship between cardiorespiratory endurance training and other categories of conditioning requires a review of changes that occur with increased aerobic, or anaerobic capacity. As aerobic/anaerobic capacity increases, general metabolism rises, muscle metabolism is enhanced, hemoglobin rises, buffers in the bloodstream increase, venous return is improved, stroke volume is improved, and the blood bed becomes more able to adapt readily to varying demands. Each of these results of cardiovascular fitness/cardiorespiratory conditioning will have a direct positive effect on muscular endurance, and an indirect effect on strength and flexibility. To facilitate optimal delivery of oxygen to the working muscles, the person needs to train or participate in activities that will build up the energy stores needed for sport. This is referred to as metabolic training. Metabolic training is generally divided into two types: aerobic and anaerobic.
Martial Art Fitness Class
Fitness refers to many things. First, it can refer to a state of physical health. Second, it can refer to being in good shape as a result of diet and exercise. It also can apply to a sense of mental and physical health. On a survival basis, fitness pertains to the ability to adapt to your environment. Keeping these notions in mind, it only makes sense that martial arts fitness has several connotations and theoretical applications. Generally, martial arts fitness can increase a person’s strength, stability, stamina, flexibility and explosive power.

I have introduced a new protocol in my training regime ,that of RESISTANCE BAND AND TUBE WORKOUT Resistance BANDS and TUBE really can train every aspect of fitness and performance including speed, power, flexibility, dynamic balance and of course reactive strength. It is also one of the most versatile fitness tools available, especially when you understand all it’s capabilities. I have equipped myself with an internationally accepted qualification on the subject.
Special-population (senior & Kids)
The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) guidelines for special populations may vary somewhat as more knowledge is obtained annually. Special populations consist of people who may have the following conditions: lower back pain; high blood pressure; heart disease; diabetes; asthma; coronary obstructive pulmonary disease; arthritis; high blood cholesterol; obesity; overweight; pregnant women; people with AIDS or cancer; osteoporosis; people with shoulder impingement; paraplegics and quadriplegics; multiple sclerosis; epilepsy; and cerebral palsy. Cardiovascular, weight training and flexibility categories with their specific parameters of frequency (i.e., days per wk), intensity (i.e., % HRR and % 1-RM), duration (i.e., minutes), and types of exercise are provided.
Sport specific training is simply fitness and performance training designed specifically for athletic performance enhancement. Training programs for athletic performance enhancement could include such areas as strength, speed, power, endurance, flexibility, mobility, agility, mental preparedness (including goal setting), sleep, recovery/regeneration techniques and strategies, nutrition, rehabilitation, pre-habilitation, and injury risk reduction.
